One Man’s Junk is Another Man’s Necessity

When we moved into our new apartment we had no furniture and a small budget. Even the large discount stores were too expensive for us. So hello Goodwill! We found these chairs on the curbside of the store for $7.50. Although a good deal, they were royally scuffed up and had that Denny’s/Anna Miller’s/Sizzler’s kind of feel. So we decided to jazz it up a bit.

Before the makeover: Grandma Comfortable. Goes well with all-you-can eat shrimp and put-hair-on-your-chest cup of coffee. Likely found in restaurants where hardworking waiters will be lucky to see three dollars on the table.

After the makeover: Slick, goes with everything, looks brand spankin new.
