Wrapper’s Delight

Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 The way I used to wrap gift boxes since my days as a silver braced, gangly teenager was by cutting out fun, beautiful, and goofy images from magazines or newspapers relevant to the gift receiver. I still do stuff like that now. But I really love these grown up wrapping options like Chewingthecud reusable fabric wraps (interesting name). My favorites are Give Luck, Give Cheer, and especially this Give Wisdom fabric pictured here (currently sold out on their site). The fabrics are pricey at $10, but they’re reusable and printed on 100% organic cotton with soy-based inks. If this is beyond your budget, you can take this idea and look for less expensive fabrics or scarves at places like Goodwill. I love this idea that instead of generic Hallmark wrapping paper being wasted and discarded in a matter of a few seconds, these fabrics can be reused and passed on from person to person, or the gift receiver could I’m sure find other uses for them in their home. I think these would be perfect for Mother’s Day or a Wedding Shower.

I also like Daily Danny’s idea of using recycled brown paper package with the oversized stamp and bakery twine.
