Grandmas seem to be able to do it all. Take Tressa “Grandma” Prisbey for instance. She built what’s called the Bottle Village in Simi Valley, CA by upcycling tens of thousands of bottles in mortar. She made shrines (the doll heads are a bit freaky), wishing wells, walkways, structures and walls using bottles and other found objects. Although a 1994 earthquate damaged many of her creations, people still visit the site to experience what’s left of her unique creations. Grandmas are such bad asses!
