Sustainably Hand-Built School in Bangladesh

The METI Primary School in Rudrapur Dinajpu, Bangladesh was built by hand by a team of local craftsmen, students, parents, and teachers, led by German architects. They used local materials of bamboo, straw, jute rope, and an earthen mixture for the walls and foundation. It took just four months to complete.
