If you’re planning to visit New York City, you might assume the best bird’s eye view of Manhattan is from the top of the Empire State Building. And although the views from there are great, if you had only one day, go to the Top of the Rock at 30 Rockefeller Plaza instead where you’ll get 360-degree unobstructed views from its 70th level. The best time to go is shortly before sunset so that you can get day and night time views. I was in awe as I watched the sun elegantly fall and the full moon rise.
