The Cinematic Bridge

The Queensboro bridge, also called the 59th Street Bridge, is the bridge that connects Long Island City in Queens with Manhattan. The bridge also has some impressive cinematic ties – it was used in the opening credits of Taxi and was used for the iconic scene in Woody Allen’s Manhattan. That iconic scene, by the way, was shot at 5 AM.
