Michael Cepress is a men’s boutique in Seattle, Washington that combines traditional hand tailoring with modern aesthetics. The clothes are pricey and the avant-garde style might not be for most men, but we appreciate that Cepress makes everything by hand in-house on his old family sewing machine. I had no intention of buying anything, but I loved the store design and couldn’t resist shooting away.
The store has an old-at-heart feel with these vintage cameras, typewriters, suitcases, and furniture.
They let me peek into their small back workshop where all the action happens. Can you spot the Elton John hat in the mix?
And this men’s pea coat in the back was not for sale but I could see myself wearing this.
So next time you’re in Seattle, check the store out.
