The International Tot

Experts say a child’s brain is like a sponge and I have to agree. I recall learning to play the piano and learning new languages almost effortlessly when I was just a little tator tot. If I tried to learn a new language today, well that’d be a different (stressful) story. These multi-language number and vintage animal wall cards by Children Inspire Design can introduce your child to a foreign language while their brains are still like sponges. Currently their selections include Chinese, Spanish, French, German, Italian, and Swedish. The wall cards are made from 100% recycled cardstock and comes wrapped in a biodegradeable package. If it’s too pricey for you ($19 to $32) or you don’t see the language you want your child to learn, I think this is something you can easily recreate at home. Whichever route you take, it’s a brilliant idea.
