Japanese Woodblock Prints

If you live in the Seattle area and are fans of the works of artists like Katsushika Hokusai and Utagawa Hiroshige, check out Fleeting Beauty: Japanese Woodblock Prints at the Seattle Asian Art Museum located in Volunteer Park. This new exhibit features renowned ukiyo-e artists of the 18th and 19th centuries and runs through July 4, 2010.

Of course the best time to go is on the first Thursday of each month when it’s FREE (that’s when we go to get our art fix). The Seattle Art Museum in downtown is also free on the first Thursday of each month.
