Food, Inc. on PBS – Tuesday, August 9

Food, Inc. exposes America’s industrialized food system and its effect on our environment, health, economy and workers’ rights. I remember so clearly the day I watched Food, Inc. It was the film’s opening day. I watched it at the Film Forum in New York City. Many of us in the audience knew our attitudes about food would change to some degree after we watched the film. When the film ended, I could see that we were all still trying to process the information but were satisfied (and disturbed) with what we watched. Then my fiance and I went home and told everyone we knew to go see the film when it opened in their cities. If you or someone you know hasn’t watched it yet, PBS’s Point of View will be re-airing this tomorrow night. In Seattle, it’s on at 9:00 PM. Check your local listings for exact show times.
