An August Farmer’s Market Day

Yesterday at the farmer’s market, I was surprised to see one of my favorite Korean fruits called Chamae, also known as Korean Honeydew. Although blueberries and raspberries were still around, peaches and watermelons were much more plentiful. Bell peppers and jalapeno peppers finally debuted. I can’t wait for eggplants to roll in. And my mom’s favorite flowers – the brightly hued and gorgeously scented pink lilies – made me miss her dearly.
